Being innovative and endearing are qualities one would need to have while becoming a direct seller. 1) Examine

The first step is to examine the opportunity. Now, this might seem like an unnecessary step if one has already considered signing up. However, examination or doing our homework is still a recommended step. This step involves going through QNET’s official websites and social media pages. Furthermore, to familiarize themselves with the direct selling industry and its trends. The direct seller can further learn about the products and their specifications and benefits. This would give a head-start in their endeavor of becoming a QNET direct seller. 

2) Orientation

The next step is the orientation. The orientation process involves going through the P2P contract and properly understanding all its terms and conditions. After attesting the P2P contract, the direct seller can regularly start attending and receiving training from professionals. Most often, this would involve attending regular training programs conducted by other QNET direct sellers. Now, the new direct sellers can rely on their mentors to guide them through this process. If there is a query or difficulty that an individual is facing, then they can contact QNET’s customer care services. 

3) Kick-start

During this step, one must also be ready to hear a lot of NOs. That’s right, the business is like any other business, and there is no other way to do this. Like any other business, pitching the idea and presenting the plan is vital. Another important thing to note is when an individual faces rejection. When a person doesn’t agree to buy a product or join our team, the best thing to do is thank the person for their time and move on to the next opportunity. Forcing somebody to join against their wishes often leads to resentment and might not yield the desired results in the long run.

5) Maximize

Now, this leads us to the final step, which is to maximize. This step often involves helping team members achieve better results in their businesses. This step, in turn, benefits the overall business of the direct seller. The better the numbers of the team members, the more is the possibility of obtaining better commissions.  

Now, the team member might naturally face their own set of challenges in their business. For instance, the team member might have difficulty making presentations or a stage fear that doesn’t allow them to present to their best potential. So, as a mentor, it is the direct seller’s responsibility to help the team member become more confident and shed their fears to perform at their best. Not only does this make the person a better businessman, but it also makes them a worthy mentor who can pave the way for others.

As aspiring QNET entrepreneurs, feeling overwhelmed in the beginning is natural. I remember when I used to be hesitant and had my inhibitions starting as a direct seller. Not to mention the constant agony of breaking away from my fear of making a presentation.  

But the major learning in the journey is that it is important to do things that we are reluctant to do or are scared to do. This may be making a presentation to a group or spending an entire weekend improving presentation skills. The process might seem arduous, and there will be challenges along the road, but if it is done with absolute commitment and resilience, then the direct seller can yield great results in the long run.
