Gireesh Pushparajan: A Successful Direct-Selling Agent

Direct selling business is one of those ventures viewed under prejudiced scrutiny in our society. As our society often connects a direct selling business and company like QNET with network marketing and MLM ventures, the bad reputation inflicted upon the latter overshadows the former. Hence, most of us automatically consider the profession of a direct selling agent as extremely risky.

Moreover, a large majority of us even consider the direct selling business itself as a scam. Well, there are only a few methods to ward off this misconception. So, now, let’s follow the journey of Giressh Pushparajan, an extremely successful direct selling agent and try to understand what a direct selling agent is like.

Who is Gireesh Pushparajan

Most of us regard business ventures as only suitable for people with sound financial backgrounds. This is one of the major reasons why people are trying to steer clear from entering into a business or becoming a direct selling agent, for that matter. But, in reality, most individuals who have grown up to be successful entrepreneurs and direct selling agents didn’t hail from a financially secure background.

Let’s look at the story of Gireesh Pushparajan. Gireesh hailed from a small town in Kerala, India. In other words, one can state that he was a small-town boy who worked nine years for a major airline as a cargo handling assistant. During this time, he discovered one of the leading direct-selling companies in India, QNET. Gireesh recounts the lucky day he got introduced to QNET as such.

“I was in a situation where it didn’t seem like I had any other options or avenues to earn more money. The salary that I was receiving wasn’t enough to cover some of my most important expenses, such as my loans and credit cards. When I got to know about QNET, I just had to try whatever came my way to survive. Looking back, that moment was the best thing that has happened in my life.”

His journey at QNET as a direct selling agent

Gireesh remembers that it took almost four months to start earning from QNET. He says that one of the primary reasons and motivation behind venturing into the field of entrepreneurship as a direct selling agent is his previous job. “At my job, I felt like I was doing the work for free as the salary could not match even my most basic monthly expenses. And since the people in my circle knew that I was going through a tough time, no one wanted to associate themselves with me while I was building my QNET business. I had to reach out to people outside my circle to present the business opportunity.

When he recounts his incredible journey as a QNET agent, he distinctly remembers how strangers who joined the business with him later became his closest people. But the journey wasn’t all sunshine and daisy. He still remembers to this day, how difficult it was to resign from the airline. He says, “I was inspired by many of the other great achievers in QNET who took the risk of leaving their jobs to pursue this business as full-time entrepreneurs. I remember the days when I struggled with no food and sleeping in mosques, but I never regretted that decision. That pressure pushed me as a networker, and I knew all those hardships were part of a master plan.”

What did QNET do for him as an agent and an individual?

Gireesh observed that QNET and being a direct selling agent for QNET changed not only his lifestyle but also himself. He states,  “I started to have more empathy towards others, I learnt to quell my ego, and be supportive and appreciative of other people and their achievements. I became more sociable, and I started to realise that love and care aren’t just for my family, but it extends to the people who have been there throughout my journey.”

Yes, business and entrepreneurship are not just about an individual or a single direct selling agent. It includes a combination of several factors. For example, building the network one step at a time will eventually form a team and spending time with your team and your uplines to build a good relationship with each other. He believes collective teamwork is necessary if you plan to excel in this field.
