Working out of college can be challenging. If you are doing it, then MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU. It’s difficult because there are a lot of things you have to put your focus on like projects, assignments, attendance( we all know that pain), but with that, when you are working, you have to put in a lot extra amount of energy in your work too.
When you’re working as an entrepreneur, it tends to get difficult because it’s you who would be affected. Direct selling seems and sounds easy but just like any other work requires a lot of hard work to succeed. If you start a new business, you work 24 hrs to put in on the map, the same way when you’re working in network marketing, you must put in extra hours and effort to reach somewhere.
It is highly exhausting at times, prospecting a customer and reaching out to them; talking them into buying your products, all this may sound very easy, but it isn’t. You need to know what you’re selling, how it’ll help the customer. You need to approach every customer with a different perspective, a kind of perspective they deem fit. Direct selling is mostly very flexible, but you need to work more than a regular job to reach somewhere where you can see the fruit of your hard work.
I was 21 years old when I joined QNET, a little silly and naïve, but I can tell you one thing for sure I was sure what I wanted to do, and that helped me steer my boat with a clear vision. So I started talking to people first and getting to know them better; in short, I started growing my social circle. I started meeting people from different colleges and different sets of society.
I found that a lot of these people are very enthusiastic when it comes to starting a new business or the idea of “BEING YOUR OWN BOSS”, but most of them lacked the will to put in effort for growth and hard work.
It is very important in a direct selling business that you get the people who share your same thoughts and vibe to join in on your business. Otherwise, your business will crumble just like their dreams.
So I approached people who I felt had what it takes to be in this business. This is no “easy peasy lemon squeezy”, I knew that even though I was still very young to understand the actual depth of this business. My father always taught us to work with all our heart, mind and soul and not to worry about results as god will always do what is best for you.
I abide by it with all my heart. And yes I am where I am because I worked with all my might. I am sure a lot of IR’s had to go through so much and had to face adversities but ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ right?
On that note let’s just end these series of introduction and start off what we’re really here to talk about. QNET, and how it has helped people like me grow in aspects that were unimaginable at a point in time.
