If you are planning to become an entrepreneur, you should be well aware of this category of entrepreneur. Are you wondering why? In order to understand and make out your position in the world of entrepreneurship and business, it is crucial to understand everything about that world. That way, you will be able to compare, evaluate and realize what kind of role or type of entrepreneur you will be. More than often, we imitate and practice the things we study in our life. But don’t approach this subject matter or drone entrepreneurs with the same mentality.

Some lessons must be approached with the intent of learning, understanding and remembering. You should be aware of some lessons, situations and categories in order to recognize them and avoid or stay away from them. Drone entrepreneurs can be a section of entrepreneurs who belong to that category. Well, let’s discuss the matter in detail and educate ourselves, shall we?

Who is a Drone entrepreneur?

A drone entrepreneur is someone who doesn’t like change. Yeah… you may have heard the same sentence before, when we explained another entrepreneur category in detail. We’ll come back to that. Now, let’s focus on Drone entrepreneur. This type of entrepreneur refuses to change. They want to continue to conduct their business in their own traditional methods.

Hence, they aren’t entrepreneurs who are afraid of changes. Drone entrepreneurs are people who detest change. They attach pride to their outdated methods and continue to uphold them in the name of traditions. Are you beginning to understand why I suggested never to imitate or follow in the footsteps of such an entrepreneur? Before delving deep into that, let’s clear a misunderstanding. The description of a drone entrepreneur may seem familiar to that of a Fabian entrepreneur. But they are not the same. Let’s examine how a Drone entrepreneur differs from a Fabian entrepreneur.

The difference between Fabian and Drone entrepreneurs

Both Fabian and drone entrepreneur have some similarities with each other. But, essentially, they are different. While Fabian entrepreneur, too, doesn’t support changes and refuses to adapt to the developments in technologies just like Drone entrepreneurs, there is a fundamental difference between them. While Fabian entrepreneurs are fear to change their set ways to adapt to the changes in the world, drone entrepreneurs detest them.

But the most important difference between both is that Fabian entrepreneur readily adapts to change when they are cornered. But, drone entrepreneurs still remain rigid and loyal to their age-old traditional ways. Even if they face a situation where they could never advance or grow their business without change, they would still choose to stay with the old ways.

So, yes. Both Fabian and Drone entrepreneur have a shared problem towards the advancements and changes. But, No. It doesn’t make them the same because they respond in totally different manners. As we have cleared out that confusion, let me explain why following in the footsteps of a drone entrepreneur is never a good policy.

The disadvantages of being a Drone entrepreneur

When you are a drone entrepreneur, you are not only risking and limiting yourself. Instead, you are holding back everyone who is working for you. When entrepreneurs decide they don’t want to change their ways, that is the proclamation of their reluctance to grow. Growth always comes from changes. Yes, sometimes those changes can be a bit risky. But if you aren’t ready to take a calculated risk, how can you progress in business?

So, fellow humans, if you want to become an entrepreneur, try not to be a drone entrepreneur. Entrepreneur who limits themselves to a space where they feel safe and secure, someone who has given up on progress and advancements. Entrepreneurs who don’t place themselves at the apex of change and conquer them are writing a death sentence for their business.

Instead, be someone on whom people can depend. Be someone who adapts themselves to the changing times. Be someone who lives in the present rather than stuck in the past. Be strong, smart and trustworthy. Don’t hide behind the false idea of safety and security. If you want to be an entrepreneur, always explore more, find ways to advance and find ways to excel. That will pave your way to success!
